When a stunning maternity session at Kelly Park Rock Springs turns into a surprise engagement proposal session, you freak out! As photographers, this is what we all hope for, but to actually get be apart of it unexpectedly? There are no words to describe that feeling. One of our couples have been waiting to do their maternity shoot at Kelly Park. We were beyond honored to be there with them. We got so many stunning shots. About half way through our session we knew they were going to have the most beautiful maternity photos.
How did it turned into a surprise engagement proposal?
Their surprise engagement proposal was not only a surprise to Jessica, but to us as well! Ramon told us that it was a surprise, the day of the session! We literally had less then two minutes to come up with a plan. We didn’t get a chance to speak prior to their photo session. Ramon had the ring with him and we quickly agreed on the logistics of how he was going to pop the question. This natural spring in Apopka, Florida created the most romantic setting for him to profess his love.
The second Jessica came back, it was time to execute her surprise engagement proposal. We posed them as inconspicuous as possible and waited for Ramon to make his move. When he got on one knee, it was instantly a scene from a romance movie! Jessica’s reaction was priceless as she wasn’t expecting it at all. After a few moments, we congratulated the happy couple and began capturing their engagement session photos at Kelly Park.
Everything about their Kelly Park engagement session was perfect! There was beautiful lighting due to the overcast weather, it wasn’t humid at all, and Kelly Park was empty. ( An empty park NEVER happens. ) That is what we call a unicorn scenario! Haha. These lovebirds were simply stunning. We couldn’t imagine a more perfect surprise engagement proposal while they wait for the arrival of their baby girl!
The moment that changed their lives forever was captured on camera; bright smiles, happy tears, and pure love were defining characteristics of their Kelly Park Rock Springs engagement session. It truly amazes us how everything can spontaneously come together in a perfect moment and create something so amazing! We truly wish Jessica and Ramon a lifetime of happiness and love.
