Inquiry + Consultation
Tell us your date, venue or city, and what you already know about the celebration. We review your inquiry personally and, when the date and service are a fit, invite you to a relaxed Zoom consultation. We’ll learn about your plans, priorities, and concerns, answer your questions, and help you determine which collection best supports the experience you’re planning.

Reserve Your Date + Welcome
After your consultation, you’ll receive your proposal, agreement, payment schedule, and next steps. Once the agreement is signed and the retainer is received, your date is officially reserved. From there, we’ll introduce you to the planning process so you know what we’ll need, when we’ll need it, and what happens between booking and the wedding.

Engagement + Wedding Planning
When an engagement session is part of your experience, we’ll help with location, timing, preparation, and natural direction. As the wedding approaches, we’ll also help shape the photography timeline, organize family groupings, discuss portrait priorities and locations, and work through the details that affect your photographs. When needed, we coordinate with your planner, venue, and other wedding professionals so photography works within the larger celebration.

Wedding-Week Preparation
Before the wedding, we review the final timeline, addresses, access, family groupings, portrait priorities, important details, and photography-team assignments. Your assigned photo team receives a final wedding brief so everyone arrives knowing the plan, the people, and what matters most to you.

The Wedding Day
We arrive prepared. We’ll give clear, natural direction when it helps, step back when the moment is better left alone, and stay aware of the people, atmosphere, relationships, details, and transitions happening around you. The plan gives us structure. It does not turn your wedding into a production.

Your Image Reveal
When your photographs are complete, we’ll bring you back into the story through a guided viewing and ordering experience. You’ll see the wedding as a complete body of work, identify the photographs that matter most, and begin making decisions about your album and artwork with guidance along the way.

Gallery + Finished Artwork
Your online gallery is delivered after your image reveal—typically within 24 hours—making it easy to enjoy, download, and share your photographs. Your album and ordered artwork then move into production and are typically delivered to your doorstep within 2–3 weeks of your appointment. The photography experience ends with more than files on a screen.

What happens after we inquire?
We review your date, location, priorities, and the details you share personally. If the date and service may be a fit, we’ll invite you to a Zoom consultation where we can learn more about your plans, answer your questions, and recommend the clearest next step.
How involved is Nova in the wedding timeline?
We provide photography timeline guidance and coordinate with your planner when appropriate. We consider movement, family groupings, portrait priorities, lighting, locations, and the time needed to create photographs without unnecessarily rushing the wedding.
What if we are uncomfortable in front of the camera?
You do not need to know how to pose. We provide clear, natural direction when it helps and create room for genuine interaction so the photographs feel polished without losing what was real.
Will we know who is photographing our wedding?
Nova Imagery is a photography team led by co-owners Stephanie and Ralph. Your wedding photography team is selected based on availability, logistics, preferences, and the best fit for your celebration. Do you work with our planner and other wedding vendors?
Yes. When needed, we communicate directly with your planner, venue, videographer, and other wedding professionals so the photography plan supports the larger wedding timeline.
Can wedding collections be customized?
Yes. Our collections are starting points rather than rigid packages. During your consultation, we’ll learn what you’re planning and help shape the photography team, storytelling depth, album experience, and other elements around what your celebration needs.
Are albums and digital images included?
Our current wedding collections include professionally edited digital images and album options based on the collection selected. Your proposal and agreement will clearly outline exactly what is included in your experience. Explore our wedding collections here.
When do we receive our photographs?
Your photographs are ready for your image reveal as early as two weeks after the wedding day. Once they’re complete, you’ll choose the date and time for your viewing and ordering appointment, so timing is flexible. Some couples schedule right at the two-week mark, while others prefer three or four weeks depending on their availability. After your image reveal, your online gallery is delivered within 24 hours.
