There’s no secret as to why Downtown Orlando is on our engagement photo locations list. It’s absolutely perfect for those couples who love the urban city vibe! There are a ton of parking garages with great cityscape views, fun wall murals around the Milk and Mills District area, and modern architecture you won’t find anywhere else. It’s also the home of Lake Eola Park, which we’ll go more in detail down below.
For those couples who can’t get enough of the Disney magic, Disney’s Contemporary Resort is a must-have. It has a wide variety of indoor and outdoor options and it is the closest Disney resort to Magic Kingdom for those couples wanting gorgeous photos of Cinderella’s Castle. It’s safe to say, it’s one of our favorite Instagram worthy places for engagement photos.
Bonus : The Grand Floridian is just a short monorail ride away!
This park is perfect for capturing subtle orchid or citrus-themed engagement photos. You are immediately immersed into Cypress Grove Park’s unique universe as soon as you enter through the gate. Beautiful oak trees line the routes leading to the beautiful Cypress Grove Estate, providing a canopy over all of the roads, and it’s a lakefront, so you’ll get amazing sunset photographs. If you and your fiancé enjoy nature and natural beauty, this is an excellent location for your engagement photos!
This popular landmark is located downtown in the heart of Orlando. Many couples come here for their classic or artistic style photos so they can remember how beautiful both they and this park are on their special day. This park has a stunning view around it, which makes it even more pleasing than it already is. Also, for those who love theater or entertainment, the Walt Disney Amphitheater is the perfect backdrop for your engagement photos! There are so many art pieces throughout the park, they make this location one of a kind.
Many couples choose to go to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge as one of their Instagram worthy locations! The stunning bridge, stairway, and waterfall are complemented by the huge boulders and fire pit outside. It’s a very unique location because it has a real savanna! Zebras, giraffes, and other of the many animals there could make a great photo. Not only is it from a distance amazing, but up close as well! You will get plenty of opportunities to take some creative engagement photos at this WDW resort.
Kraft Azalea Garden in Winter Park is one of the area’s most popular Orlando photo spots. Engagement sunset photos here are incredible. The grounds include towering cypress trees and a lot of natural beauty. There is a lake view with a dock and a magnificent greek pillar monument in the park, which adds to its attractiveness.
Bonus : This location is also popular for small wedding ceremonies and elopements.
There are so many photo areas in Downtown Winter Park! Central Park is the perfect area to start because it’s located off of Park Avenue. Central Park has a beautiful rose garden, a peacock fountain, and pillars filled with unique greenery. The SunRail station is also located near Central Park. The Alfond Inn is just a short walk away, which is perfect for couples that would love to have a luxurious hotel with a observatory as their backdrop. There are a bunch of cute shops and restaurants, many of which have outdoor seating areas perfect for taking photos! Downtown Winter Park has a village-like atmosphere with its shops and historic buildings.
The Lake Runnymede Conservation Area in St. Cloud, Florida is a natural preserve. Although the lake is modest, it’s surrounded by nature and just beyond are some magnificent historic homes that may serve as backdrops for your photographs. The beauty of the woods at Lake Runnymede is legendary. This location is simply stunning with beautiful tall grass and curving trees that stand out from the other engagement photo locations in Orlando.
Rollins College is a liberal arts institution with distinctive Spanish architecture in Winter Park, Florida. It has beautiful columns, arches, grass hedges, and a rose garden. Due to Covid, obtaining a photography permit is required, but it’s definitely worth it! Rollins College is a lovely campus with stunning buildings that lends itself well to engagement photographs.
Disney is well-known for its unique resort designs. With a beach motif, the Beach Club is ideal for engagement photographs. It has a magnificent lighthouse, white sand with a lake front perspective, and a secluded gazebo surrounded by flower beds, all of which are breathtaking. The Maitland Art Center is a really unique artsy spot. It has stunning architecture, including a mayan chapel, courtyard, and dreamy garden pond. Despite its popularity as a major tourist site, it is still charming and full of distinctive orlando engagement photography settings. Harry Potter fans adore Universal and Islands of Adventure. It’s where magic and illusion come to life. Diagon Alley has a lot of photo possibilities, and if you’re up for it, getting pictures at the Wizarding World Of Harry Potter Castle is an excellent way to conclude your engagement photo session. It’s only a train ride over to Hogsmeade, so why not?
The beauty of the Kelly park is unrivaled! It’s a natural spring in Apopka that provides greenery and crystal clear water. Getting those intimate and candid photographs in the water and on the rock landing is well worth getting up early to avoid the crowds. We couldn’t skip adding Kelly Park to our list of top engagement photo locations, it’s only a 40-minute drive from Orlando!
As you can see, Disney has a wide variety of themes. The Boardwalk Inn has a vintage 1920s motif. This resort is one of the first on the property. It’s ideal for silly couples who want a more candid and relaxed session. There is a photo booth, dance hall, ice cream shop, and carnival games to enjoy. If you opt for a sunset engagement session, you can also incorporate firework photos!
Downtown Winter Garden is one of the best Orlando photo spots with its charming historic downtown. The town square is perfectly quaint and looks straight out of a storybook. There is a magnificent fountain, traditional theater, clock tower, and endless brick walls to admire. It’s also close to local wineries, so wine tasting photos are doable here as well! For those daring enough, there’s a splash pad that produces EPIC engagement photos!
Lake Nona in Orlando is engagement photo gold! It has a stunning lake, the pathways are picturesque, and there are limitless orlando engagement photo opportunities.
