During a worldwide pandemic, love still shines through. We had the privilege of photographing Heather and Adam’s intimate wedding ceremony at Kelly Park Rock Springs in Apopka, Florida. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, these two said “ I do” next to Florida’s most beautiful natural springs. Kelly park Rock Springs is also one of Orlando’s top 16 engagement session locations!
They wrote their own wedding vows and hosted a livestream to share it with guests that were unable to attend. Shortly after their ceremony, we jumped right into family photos and bride and groom portraits. Watching the happy couple interact with each other in their most blissful moments after their first kiss was our favorite part of their wedding day. We couldn’t be more thankful to have been able to capture their special day as their wedding photographers.
Kelly Park Rock Springs is technically not an intimate wedding venue. However, the parks was able to host the couple’s ceremony at this beautiful natural spring since COVID caused Kelly Park to close swimming temporarily. Although this wasn’t their original wedding plan, it was absolutely perfect. Kelly Park was empty due to their no swimming rule. Heather and Adam’s wedding ceremony photos were complete free of non-wedding guests!
As you can see below, we were able to incorporate lots of greenery. Heather chose the navy color for her bridesmaid dresses and loved how they complimented the natural setting. The groom and groomsmen donned gray and navy attire that coordinated perfectly.
Kelly Park Rock Springs gives couples easy access to hiking trails for those wanting a more adventurous wedding experience. The facility also houses one of Florida’s largest caverns, where it is possible to explore both dry caves.

Located just north of Orlando in Apopka, it’s a beautiful park with over 170 acres dedicated to conservation and preservation. Kelly Park’s natural springs attract thousands of migratory birds each year. The spring water emits at a constant 72 degrees making it perfect for swimming and snorkeling in the crystal clear waters. It has also been voted best place to swim by the Orlando Sentinel!
